Tour Itinerary :

Day 1 Jakarta Hotel – Muara Angke –  Jakarta Bay Birding – Ciwidey ( B, L & D)
You will be picked up at hotel in Jakarta around 5 am by our guide, then we drive to Muara Angke for boat trip Birding at Muara Angke and Jakarta Bay and we hope to see some key birds species , such as :  Javan Sunda Coucal ( its rare ), Milky stork,  Christmas Frigate Bird, Javan Plover, Javan Pond Heron, Bar-winged Prinia, Red Breasted Parkeet, Small Minivet, Lesser Whistling Duck,  Sunda-Teal, Whimbrel, Little Cormorant, Clamorous Reed Warbler, Javan Myna, Javan Munia, maybe Sunda pygmy woodpecker, Grey Heron, Purple Heron, Cerulean Blue kingfisher, Racket_Tailed Treepie, Golden-Bellied Greygone, Straited Heron, Cattle Egret, Little Egret, Whisker Tern, Pied Stilt, Eurasian  Moorhen, Pink-necked Green Pigeon, Sunda Collared-Dove, Spotted Dove and Indonesia Honey Eater. Then at 1 PM, we drive direct to Ciwidey by private car will take around 3 to 4 hours  approximately. Check in Guest House  Lunch & dinner will be served at the local restaurant ( Indonesian food ).

Day 2 Ciwidey Kawah Putih Full Day Birding Tour  ( B,L,D)
After early breakfast we drive to Kawah Putih by private car and we hope to see the key bird species such as : Javan Trogon, Horsfield’s Thrush , Sunda Trush, Javan Cochoa, Javan Tesias, Volcano Swiftlets, Javan Scop owl, Javan Hawk-Eagle, White-flanked Sunbird, Pink-headed Fruit Doves, Tawny-breasted Parrotfinch Javan Scops Owl, crescent-chested babbler, Javan flower packer, Rufous tailed fantail, javan froghmouth, salvadori nightjar, Javan tesia, Indonesia Spoted castrel, Pied shrike, Chesnut-Fronted shrike babbler, Flame fronted barbet, Orange spotted bulbul, Javan grey-throated white eyes, Blue whistling trush, Eye browed wren babbler, Mountain White-Eye, Mountain leaft warbler, Sunda Warbler, Sunda bush warbler, Indigo Flycather, Javan whistling Trush, Little Pied flycatcher. Available for night birding and we hope to see Salvadori’s nightjar & Javan scop owl and maybe Javan frogmouth. And after that, we drive to the Guest house
Day 3 Ciwidey Kawah Putih Full Day Birding Tour  ( B,L,D)
After breakfast, we drive back to Ciwidey to look for some birds which missed in the previous day.

Day 4 Ciwidey – Cibodas Birding Tour  ( B,L,D)
Early breakfast will be served at the resort and its still possible to bird to look for some key birds species which missed in the previous day. Then check out from the lodge where we will drive to Cibodas, takes around 3 to 4 hours driving if there is not traffic jam. Arrival at Cibodas, check in at the Guest House or Hotel.   Explore Cibodas Botanical Gaden,  is a 84.99 hectares (210.0 acres) botanical garden on the slopes of Mount Gede located in the Cibodas subdistrict of West Java, Indonesia^. It was operated by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), which now has been transformed into the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). Afternoon is available for birding around Cibodas to look for Sunda thrush, White-crowned forktail/Javan forktail.

Day 5 Gunung Gede Birding Full Day Tour  (B,L,D)
After early breakfast at the Guest house, we drive to the entrance gate of Gunung Gede, then birding around Gunung Gede, and we hope to see the key birds species, such as : Chesnut-bellied patrige, White flanked sunbird, Javan tesia, pygmy wren babbler, Pygmy tit, White-bibbed babbler, Crescent-chested babbler, Javan Blue robin, Javan flower packer, Rufous tailed fantail, Javan scop owel, Java froghmouth, Salvadori nightjar, Javan tesia, javan spoted castrel, Chesnut-Fronted shrike babbler, White Browed shrike babbler, Javan Hawk eagle, Flame fronted barbet, Orange spotted bulbul, Sunda trush ( its rare ) Javan grey-throated white eyes, Blue whistling trush, little spider-hunter, long-billed spider hunter, Tawny breasted parotpinch, Javan Shrotwing, Javan Whsitling Trush, Rufous fronted Laughingtrush, Javan Banded Broadbill, Indigo Flycather, Snowy browed flycatcher.
 
Day 6  Cibodas Birding Tour  (B,L,D)
Early breakfast will be served at the Guest house. And after we have had breakfast, check out then we drive to Cibodas where we will do birdwatching around Cibodas botanical garden. We hope to see Flame fronted barbet, Pygmy bushtit,  Pygmy Cupwing, Lesser Shortwing, Crescent-chested Babbler ,Java’s  Blood-breasted (Javan) Flowerpecker, Javan Fulvetta and White-flanked Sunbird, Yellow-throated Hanging Parrot, Javan Kingfisher, Blue Nuthatches,  and Sunda Minivets. Rusty-breasted Cuckoo , Cave Swiftlet, Black-winged Flycatcher-shrike and Javan Munia.

Day 7 Cibodas - Halimun Birding Full Day Tour (B,L,D)
After early breakfast, we drive to Halimun national park, its possible for birding before we reach at the accommodation in halimun. Then afternoon check in at the resort or at the homestay

Day 8 Halimun Birding Tour ( B,L,D)
After early breakfast, we will look for the key birds, such as Javan Hawk eagle, Javan trogon, Javan Sunbird, White belied fantail, Javan and Sunda forktail, white bibbed babbler, White breasted babbler, spotted croacias, Brown-throated barbet, Flame fronted barbet and Javan Whistling Trush, Javan Cuckooshrike, Pale Blue Jungle Flycatcher, Melodious Bulbul. 

Day 9 Halimun Birding Tour  - Carita Birding Tour ( B,LD)
Today, we will look for some key bird species which missed in the previous day. Then  we check out where we will drive to Carita, check in at the ecolodge. Afternoon birding in the hide to photography for kingfisher species, such as : Javan kingfisher, blue eared kingfisher, White-throated kinfisher, Stork-billed kingfisher, and collared kingfisher. Night birding is available if you are not tired or tomorrow night is possible.

Day 10 Carita Birding Tour (B,L,D)
After breakfast at the ecolodge, we drive to the entrance gate of Carita Nature Reserve, then we look for the key species, such as : Javan banded pitta, Javan –black capped babbler, Javan frogmouth, Javan owlet ( its rare ), Javan tit babbler /Grey-cheeked tit babbler, and Black-banded barbet. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant. Night birding is available.

Day 11 Carita Birding Tour – Ujung Kulon Birding (B,L,D)
Breakfast will be served at hotel, and after breakfast, we drive to the spot of Kingfisher and we hope to see Javan Kingfisher, White-throated kingfisher, Collared kingfisher, Stork-billed kingfisher, and Blue-eared kingfisher. And after that, we drive to the another spot to look for Plantive Cuckoo, Banded Bay Cuckoo, Little bronze cuckoo, Pied Triller, Common Flameback, Sunda Pygmy Woodpecker, Freckle-Breasted Woodpecker, Grey-rumped treeswift, Orange-belied flowerpecker, Fork-tailed drongo cuckoo, Ashy drongo, Small minivet, Brown throated sunbird, Lesser coucal, Chestnut-breasted malkoha, Little spiderhunter, Javan munia, Scaly-breasted munia, White-headed munia, Scarlet-headed flowerpecker, Coppersmith barbet, Yellow-eared barbet. And after that, we drive to Ujung Kulon by private car, arrival in Ujung Kulon, check in at homestay, and if we still have enough time, we will birding in the afternoon.   

Day 12 Ujung Kulon Birding Tour (B,L,D)
After breakfast at homestay,  we start again  for birding in Ujung Kulon, and we hope to see Javan banded pitta, Javan black capped babbler, Horsfield’s babbler, Banded kingfisher, Rufous-backed dwarf kingfisher, Stork-billed kingfisher, Rudy kingfisher, Javan kingfisher, Cerulean kingfisher, Pin-striped tit babbler, Laced woodpecker, Common flameback,  sunda pygmy woodpecker, freckle-breasted woodpecker, Fork tailed drongo cuckoo, Ashy drongo, Javan munia, Scaly-breasted munia, White-headed munia, Banded broadbill, Yellow-eared barbet, Black –banded barbet, Greey-rumped treeswift, Crested serpent eagle, and also its possible birding in the hide for rufous-backed dwarf kingfisher, Javan black capped babbler, Horsfield’s babbler and maybe Javan owlet if we are lucky. Then we drive to homestay. Dinner will be served.

Day 13 Ujung Kulon Birding Tour (B,L,D)
And after we have had breakfast, we drive to the border of Ujung Kulon National Park where we will set up for jungle camp at Mt. Honje area ( not to the peak ) Key Species : White-breasted Babbler,  Grey-cheeked Tit Babbler, Javan-Black capped Babbler,  Javan Owlet, Banded Broadbill (Javan), Javan frogmouth, Black-banded barbet, (Javan) Yellow-throated hanging parrot, ( Javan) streaky-breasted spiderhunter, Javan Sunbird, and Javan kingfisher. And also we expect to see the beautiful Orange-breasted trogon, Black-naped monarch, Scaly-crowned babbler, Large wren babbler, Horsfield’s babbler, Temminck’s babbler, Olive-winged bulbul, Black-headed bulbul, Ruby-throated bulbul, Banded kingfisher, Small minivet, Crimson sunbird, Ruby –cheeked sunbird, Little spiderhunter, Orange-breasted flowerpecker, Crimson breasted flowerpecker, Artic warbler, Dark-throated oriole, and maybe Black-and crimson oriole, Blyth’s paradise flycatcher, and Maroon breasted philentoma. Night birding will have great experience where we will look for Javan frogmouth, Oriental-bay owl, Sunda scop owl, Barred eagle owl, Reddish scop owl, and Spotted wood owl. ( jungle camp / homestay, depend on request)

Day 14 Ujung Kulon Birding Tour ( B,L,D)
Today, we will look for some lowland endemic birds which missed in the previous day

Day 15 Ujung Kulon Island Birding Tour ( B,L,D)
After breakfast, we cruise to Peucang Island where you will stay 3 nights and for birding trip around the island in Ujung Kulon National Park, arrival at Peucang Island, check in at the lodge. Explore the unique and delightful island of Peucang lies in clear blue waters off the north western coastline of the Ujung Kulon Peninsula. Its white-sand beaches and coral reef shores hold a fascinating world of marine life while Peucang’s impressive forest shelters an abundance of wildlife, some of which graze and play around the lodges. Opposite Peucang Island across a 800 meters channel is the Ujung Kulon Peninsula with a wide variety of attraction. Peucang Island’s beach is superb for swimming and shallow snorkeling reefs are also found all along the shore. For deeper snorkeling there are coral reefs to the east, midway between the Island and mainland. Sunset will be started around 5.30 PM, where you will enjoy afternoon tea or coffee with fried banana on the while you are enjoying the Sunset of Java. Its possible for birding around the island to look for Rhinoceros hornbill, Wrethead-hornbill, Oriental pied hornbill, Green imperial pigeon, Hill myna, Fulvous-chested jungle flycatcher, Scarlet-headed flowerpecker. 
   
Day 16 Savana Cidaon  – Tanjung Layar Birding - Karang Copong – Carita Overnight( B,L,D)
Breakfast will be served at the restaurant, and after we have had breakfast, we cruise to the mainland to  look  Ruddy kingfisher, Javan forktail, Asian fairy bluebird, Black-capped kingfisher, Fulvous-chested jungleflycacther, the Green peafowl, Crimson sunbird, Green imperial pigeon, Pied imperial pigeon, Blue-throated bee eater, Chestnut-headed bee eater. Explore cidaon, then we cruise to Cibom where we will birding at Tanjung Layar, and we hope to see Grey-cheeked tit babbler, Banded kingfisher, Great slaty woodpecker, Lesser racket-tailed drongo, Javan leafbird, Fairy bluebird, Large wren babbler, Crimson breasted flowerpecker, Little spiderhunter, Horsfield’s babbler. Then we trek back to Cibom where we will birding at Karang Copong and we hope to see Yellow-throated hanging parrot, Common flameback, Yellow forest wagtail, Crested serpent eagle, Grey headed fish eagle, White-bellied fish eagle. Then we check out where we will cruise back to the border where we will drive back to Carita for overnight before we continue for the next trip to Sumatra Way Kambas in the next day. Arrival at carita, check in at ecolodge.

Day 17 Carita – Way Kambas Birding Tour ( B,L,D)
After early breakfast at ecolodge, and after we have had breakfast, we drive to Merak where we will take the ferry to Bakauheni Lampung, Sumatra, then we drive to Way Kambas, the magnificent national park in southern Sumatra and we hope we will have big chance to see the wonderful birds species in way kambas. Arrival at Way Kambas, check in at homestay. Night walking around the village for nocturnal

Day 18 Way Kambas Birding Tour ( B,L,D)
We start around 5.30 am and we will drive to the forest by safari car and also the breakfast will be served in the forest and we hope to see more colorful  species of the region including Crested Fireback, Red-naped Trogon, Rufous-collared Kingfisher, Scarlet-rumped Trogon, Diard’s Trogon, Banded Kingfisher, Red-bearded Bee-eater and a whole myriad of woodpeckers including Buff-necked, White-bellied, Banded, Orange-backed & Buff-rumped Woodpeckers , Malayan Banded Pitta . Night birding will have great experience where we will look for  Oriental Bay Owl, Reddish Scops Owl, Brown Boobook, Malaysian Eared Nightjar, Bonaparte’s Nightjar, Blyth’s Frogmouth, Gould’s Frogmouth, Large-tailed Nightjar, Brown Wood Owl, Sunda Frogmouth and the superb Large Frogmouth.

Day 19 Way Kambas Birding Tour - Way Kanan Birding ( B,L,D)
We leave early morning around 5.30 am, and breakfast will be served in the forest, and after we have had breakfast, we start again for birding and we hope to see Green Broadbill, Black-and-yellow, Banded and Dusky Broadbills , Sumatran Babbler, Black-throated Babbler, Ferruginous Babbler , Fluffy-backed Tit Babbler,  Banded Woodpecker, Sunda Crow, Short-tailed Babbler, Greater Racket-tailed Drongo, Orange-backed Woodpecker, Red-eyed Bulbul, Sooty Barbet, Red-crowned Barbet, Pin-striped Tit-Babbler, Chestnut-winged Babbler, White-bellied Woodpecker, Ashy Tailorbird, Rufous-tailed Tailorbird, Asian Emerald Dove, Banded Kingfisher, Red-naped Trogon, Buff-necked Woodpecker, Buff-rumped Woodpecker, Sooty-capped Babbler, Fluffy-backed Tit-Babbler, Malayan Crested Fireback, Red Junglefowl, Red-billed Malkoha, Black-and-yellow Broadbill, Scaly-crowned Babbler, Cream-vented Bulbul, Rufous-tailed Shama, Black-bellied Malkoha, Gray-chested Jungle Flycatcher, Red-bearded Bee-eater, Rufous-winged Philentoma, Green Iora, Ferruginous Babbler, Black-eared Barbet, White-chested Babbler, Raffles’s Malkoha, Banded Broadbill. 

Day 20 Way Kambas Birding – Drop off to Raden Intan Airport ( B, L)
We start again for early morning birding where we will find some species which missed in the previous day, and breakfast will be se served in the forest. Then we drive back to homestay for check out where you will be drop off to Raden intan airport in Lampung. End of the Great Birding Adventure.
